They grow best in warm, moist areas such as locker rooms, swimming pools and in skin folds .Ringworm spreads through direct or indirect contact with a group of fungi known as Dermatophytes. Trichophyton and Microsporum are the two most common fungi that cause ringworm. You can catch ringworm infection by touching an infected animal or person, touching an infected person's clothing or towel or by touching something an infected animal rubs against.

What are the symptoms?

No one really knows what causes eczema. However, we do know that people with eczema have skin that is different.

Eczema is the type of atopic dermatitis that appears in circular patches, so it's the type most likely to resemble ringworm. People who develop eczema usually have an inherited tendency to develop allergic conditions. Stress and environmental triggers can cause eczema to develop, but eczema can also occur for no known reason. Irritants such as frequent bathing, harsh soaps and wool clothing can cause nummular eczema to flare up

A particular type of inflammatory reaction of the skin in which there are typically vesicles (tiny blister-like raised areas) in the first stage, followed by reddening, swelling, bumps, and crusting of the skin and finally scaling of the skin. Eczema characteristically causes itching and burning of the skin.

It’s a red, patchy fungal infection that can cause blistering, bald patches and crumbling fingernails and toenails.

Itching is an intense, distracting irritation or tickling sensation that may be felt all over the skin's surface, or confined to just one area. Itching instinctively leads most people to scratch the affected area. Different people can tolerate different amounts of itching, and anyone's threshold of tolerance can be changed due to stress, emotions, and other factors. In general, itching is more severe if the skin is warm, and if there are few distractions. This is why people tend to notice itching more at night.

The best way to prevent itching is to take care of your skin. This includes protecting your skin from excessive damage. Methods for protecting your skin include the following:

  • Use mild bath soap that won't irritate your skin.
  • Take a bath in warm, not hot water to relieve itching and avoid making your skin too dry.
  • Avoid certain fabrics for clothing such as wool and synthetics . Switch to cotton clothing and bed sheets.
  • Since warm, dry air can make your skin dry, keep the thermostat in your house or flat down.
  • To relieve itching, place a cool flannel or some ice over the area that itches, rather than scratching.
  • Do not wear tight clothes
  • Wash the area in lukewarm water.
  • Instantly relieve itching and burning skin, but that's not all - in most cases, it eliminates the cause.
  • Treat and cure so many minor skin aliments and conditions like
  • Ringworm
  • Athlete's foot
  • Jock itch
  • Cracked and dry skin
  • Eczema
  • Dry and wet itching
  • Fungus infection in middle of fingers
